During December 1964, and in a similar continental box, ATCo launched king size Waterford Water Tip Cigarettes. Waterford featured a filter tip impregnated with encapsulated droplets of water that the smoker gently squeezed or pinched to moisten the smoke. The idea behind innovative Waterford was the convenience of a cigarette producing the coolness of an old fashioned water pipe.
