My favourite Matinee cigarettes were the ones that had a yellow face with gold trim, brown sides, and a brown diagonal stripe located on the lower right hand corner. The taste was excellent at 11mg of tar and 0.8mg of nicotine that ran from 1985 to 1988. In a world where commercial industry are doing remakes of items, why not bring back the old design and taste? I believe they could save some money with a simple yet apt design. As for seeing Matinee regular cigarettes. I think they stopped making that size. They did the same with Matinee Extra Mild. Matinee Select (Purple/ or Maroon design) has regular size. The taste factor is close to the old Matinee taste.
