In Norway, Paramount is one of a small number of brands which are sold much cheaper than other cigarettes. A possible reason for could be that Paramounts contain less tobacco than other brands. Less tobacco means less taxes to pay to the government, and therefore they can be sold cheaper. Many who smoke Paramount in Norway notice that the cigarettes burn quite a lot quicker than other brands, which could be because they contain less tobacco. This is, however, only speculation.
