Jerusalem Cigarette Company (JCC) is a public shareholding company located in Azariyah Bethany, a suburb of Jerusalem. Initially founded as a private company, it was later made public in 1962. Currently, it has a fully paid up capital of JD 7 million, divided into 7 million shares and around 7050 shareholders. The entire capital expansion was financed by the company’s profits during the period 1969- 2004.
JCC manufactures no less than eight brands of Virginia and American blended cigarettes and markets them in the Palestinian Authority area. These brands now meet more than 50% of the local cigarette demand of these markets.
