Process & Quality
Bidi is the least synthetic and the near natural. The entire process of manufacturing is hundred per cent manual. Full-grown Khendu Leaves are handpicked from the evergreen wild jungles and are cut to the required size, using templates. Different varieties of best quality tobacco are produced from different places in the country. Depending upon the requirements of flavor, different variety of tobacco is mixed to ensure the right blend. Certain quality of tobacco is placed and rolled into the Khendu leaves and tied with a thread. After being furnace -dried, the bidies are packed. Our beedies are furnace dried in a coal-fired furnace for de-moisturizing to bring out the real flavor of tobacco.

A bidi has negligible amount of tobacco in it - less than 20 grams. 3. A bidi lasts about 8-10 puffs; still it gives the complete smoking satisfaction. 4. Where as a cigarette has more tobacco content in it and it lasts about 15-20 puffs before giving the same level of satisfaction. 5. The price of the bidi is just a fraction that of the cigarette. 6.
