A decorative Christmas tin that was issued in December, 1941. It is embossed in the upper right corner with the medallion busts of Mrs. Isie K. Smuts (the wife of Jan Smuts) and Mr. Jan Smuts (the Prime Minister of South Africa during World War 2). In the lower left-hand corner it was inscribed with a Springbok's head issuant from a letter "V" for Victory and the label "Kersfees*Christmas*1941".

Inside was a message in both English and Afrikaans:
