A decorative Christmas tin embossed in the upper right corner with the busts of Mrs. Isie K. and Mr. Jan Smuts (the First Lady and Prime Minister of South Africa) that was issued in December, 1941. It was inscribed with a Springbok's head issuant from a letter "V" for Victory in the lower left-hand corner and the label "Kersfees / Christmas 1941".
Inside was a message in English and Africaner:
