State Express 777 was originally produced in the United Kingdom by Ardath Tobacco Co. Ltd.. The overseas rights to the State Express brand were sold to British American Tobacco in 1925. 777s, made in plain-end and cork-tip, were sold in the United Kingdom and in Holland.
