Rave cigarettes debuted a bold "waving flag" logo to give the brand a stronger identity in the marketplace. Replacing its old design—a red rectangle with "The Great American Blend" in script below, is a new package design featuring visual system of color coding to differentiate the varieties of cigarettes: full flavor in red, menthol in green, and lights in brown. A blue wave appears across the top of the packaging and "The Great American Blend" in classic type is centered under the waving flag logo. The new design also emphasizes Rave as a U.S.-manufactured cigarette, adding the "Made in USA" distinction within the blue wave at the top of the box.
