Brand Holiday

The American version of Holiday was manufactured by Larus and Brother Co. (a.k.a. The House of Edgeworth) until 1974, when the company was closed, and rights to the brand were transferred to Liggett and Myers Tobacco.

British American Tobacco (New Zealand) Ltd continued its dominance in the tobacco industry in New Zealand with a 76% share of volume sales of cigarettes in 2003. Its top selling brand, Holiday continued its reign as the most popular brand of cigarettes with a 28% share of volume sales alone in the same year. They found Canadian brand Export A full-flavour cigarettes were the least toxic and carried a 37 per cent lower cancer risk compared with Holiday Extra-Milds.
