Cavaliers were also a sponsor on the early episodes of the game show "I've Got a Secret", until it was replaced by Winstons around 1956. It was reintroduced some time later by the Forsyth Tobacco Products division of R. J. Reynolds in a wide range of varieties.

The Canadian version was produced by R. J. R. Macdonald, and made in the 1970s. It has long since been discontinued.

Cavalier cigarettes are also made in Ecuador and Turkey.
